THE INSPIRATION:
Andy Warhol was known for breaking the rules, harnessing the latest technology to express his ideas, and creating a new movement in Twentieth Century art to be studied and
imitated for years to come. The Factory designs were influenced by the early textures and shading of Warhol's "Factory" period.
As the preeminant American artist of the 20th century, Andy Warhol challenged the world to see art differently.
Warhol's work spanned nearly 40 years with a library of over 100,000 works of art. His work began in the 1950's as a fashion illustrator
and over time became more contemporary with his abstract and pop art.
The Andy Warhol collection is divided up into six design categories:
Pop Abstracts, Factory, Signature, Simply Andy, Pure, and Revolution. A portion of the proceeds goes towards the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc.
Machine-made of 100% polypropylene.
